Most standard alloy wheel refurbishments are completed within 1–2 working days. Diamond cut refurbishment typically takes 2–3 days due to the additional machining and curing stages involved. We’ll give you a clear timeframe when you book in, and we always aim to get your wheels back to you as quickly as possible without compromising on quality.

Yes. We specialise in non structural alloy wheel repairs including buckled and bent wheels using hydraulic straightening equipment, and cracked wheels using professional TIG welding. Each wheel is carefully assessed before repair to ensure it can be safely restored. If a wheel is beyond safe repair, we’ll always advise you honestly.

Diamond cutting is a precision machining process where a CNC lathe removes a very fine layer of the wheel’s face to reveal a bright, polished aluminium surface. This creates the characteristic two-tone appearance of diamond cut alloys, a polished face with a painted or powder coated barrel. The process requires specialist equipment and is one of our most popular services.

We’re based at United Downs Industrial Park, St Day, Cornwall, TR16 5HY. We’re easily accessible from Redruth, Truro, Falmouth, Camborne and most of Cornwall. There’s ample parking on site. You’re welcome to drop your car off and collect it once the work is complete, or arrange for just the wheels to be brought in.

We are Cornwall’s premier wheel refurbishment company with over twenty years of experience. We have invested heavily so that we are able to offer the highest standards of repair possible by only using the best equipment, products and processes.

Wheels are booked in through our office before being given work sheets and job numbers, tyres are removed and logged. They are then chemically stripped. Once back to the bare metal, any kerbing damage is repaired prior to the wheels being gently shot blasted. All alloys then go through a multistage paint and powder coat application process, diamond cut on one of our lathes if required, before being enveloped in the finest acrylic lacquer. We then reunite the wheels with their tyres.

Yes. We strip the wheels back to bare metal before work commences. It’s the only way to properly refurbish a wheel.

Don’t panic — we can help. Our various methods and processes will enable the necessary repairs to be made before alloys are recoated.

Yes, we can polish diamond cut wheels. We operate two lathes specifically designed for alloy wheel refurbishment — the only ones of their kind in Cornwall. We have invested heavily in this area to specialise in this process and ensure minimal material removal.

We have access to a huge and varied selection of colours including OEM colours. For a bespoke finish, we can quickly and easily place a special order for a more daring colour of your choice.

No. Unfortunately the costs involved in producing the swatches would far exceed the cost of most jobs. However, you’re welcome to give us an idea of the colour(s) you are interested in and we will be happy to show you our master set and offer advice.

We endeavour to return your wheels to a like-new condition. Occasionally, severe corrosion and other issues impact the finish, but we may suggest a particular colour to disguise any imperfections in the metal. Rest assured, you will be very happy with the result, especially for the price. Some customers tell us their wheels are better than new after refurbishment.

We certainly can. We regularly transform two-piece split rims and replica split rim style wheels. We’ll let you know if you’ll need to replace the spline bolts.

Yes. As well as alloys, we are able to deal with your steel wheel refurbishment needs. We can also look after your steel wire wheels.

Yes, we can. Metal caps can be powder coated and plastic caps wet painted. There is an additional charge for this and we will be able to advise when we see them. We might suggest that you source new centre caps as the very best finishing touch against your newly refurbished alloys.

Yes. Our team of experts will remove and refit tyres with great care.

Yes. We will balance wheels after refitting tyres as part of the service. Our wheel balancer is calibrated by a reputable company every six months.

No. In our opinion, mobile repairs use a very much inferior system. We have hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of specialist equipment to carry out quality repairs — it wouldn’t fit in an articulated lorry, never mind a van. We are not willing to employ repair techniques which cut corners. We want to offer value for money to our customers and continue as the leaders in our field.

No. The quality and durability of a cosmetic repair does not fit with our standards. Cosmetic repairs are far from cheap considering only a fraction of the wheel is worked on.

Of course. You just need to book your drive-in slot with our team in the office and we will take care of the rest.

Please contact us if you are a trade customer regarding our twice weekly collection of loose wheels and our delivery schedule. Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to collect from private addresses or trade addresses not on our current routes. However, please call to discuss potential volumes and frequency required.
